Comment: * For the technically inclined, the problem was that my hosting provider apparently changed something that broke the fastcgi/rails glue. I got it running using Passenger. I had to hack the code to fix some static path issues that appeared with the switch, but it seems to be working now. The other problem was that yahoo's most emailed photos rss feed has had malformed xml for about a month. I have removed it from my set of feeds for the time being.
