Fixing problems, or creating new ones?
I've decided to try out some new blog software that uses a database rather than raw files to store blog content. In theory, there should be some performance improvements. We shall see. At some point, I will be porting over all the old content to the new system. For the time being, though, you can see the old stuff by clicking here.
Update! The old site has been ported and seems to be pretty much intact.
Follow up:
It is worth noting that you may register your username and log in if you are so inclined. This will require a valid email address. I will not share your email address with anyone, but if you're not happy with me having it, you can always post as a guest.
I've tried to loosen up the guest posting rules as much as the new software allows, but it still requires unregistered guests to enter some sort of valid-looking email address to post a comment. You may enter fake email addresses to bypass this. I will try to see if there's a way to get rid of this annoyance.
Please notify me if you encounter any problems. Thanks!
